Sweet, savory, and filling, this classic breakfast staple never disappoints. It is quick to make before heading out the door and will keep you feeling satiated for hours. It can be as basic as peanut butter and banana slices or it can be fancied up with strawberry or other fruit, nuts, seeds, a drizzle of syrup, cinnamon, etc. This one allows for a lot of creativity.

  • 2 whole-grain bread slices
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 banana sliced
  • optional add-ons: strawberries blueberries, cinnamon, dates, mixed nuts

Instructions
 

  • toast bread slices 2-3 minutes
  • spread with peanut butter
  • top with sliced banana
  • add optional extras to taste
