In episode two of Vibes, Los Angeles vegan tattoo artist Asia Rain explains why tattoos are not always vegan, and gives sanctuary owner Danielle Betterman of Better Piggies Rescue a fully-vegan tattoo as they discuss the tattoo industry, the personality of pigs, and what it’s like to run an animal rescue! Asia Rain is an LA-based vegan tattoo artist and co-owner of Besties Vegan Paradise, the first vegan convenience store in a food desert of East Hollywood. Better Piggies Rescue is a rehabilitation, adoption and education sanctuary and one of the only pig-dedicated sanctuaries in Arizona! Their mission is to ensure all potbelly pigs receive proper care.
