About Us

Comfort food reinvented. Once a vegan food truck, now a brick-and-mortar café, Root 66 is a plant-based restaurant in Santa Fe, NM. Born of a desire to fill a niche and give back to our community, a portion of our profits goes directly to Animal Protection Voters of New Mexico, a local non-profit that works tirelessly towards the humane treatment of all animals.

Our café, which opened in May of 2020, serves carefully crafted breakfast and lunch items. Our menu is dynamic and rotates according to the seasonal availability of local produce. We plan to expand our offerings to include bulk vegan meats, cheeses, ferments, and dry goods.
