Linda Arpino, RD, CDN,FAND is a registered dietitian nutritionist and plant based nutrition expert. She is in private practice with offices in Stamford, Connecticut and Rye Brook, New York providing nutrition consultation for children, teens and adults. Using a plant based program for chronic disease prevention, weight management and sports nutrition she uses evidence based research has been a successful formula not only for the clients she serves but for sustaining a healthy planet. Linda is the Vegetarian Nutrition Delegate for the Vegetarian Practice group for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is the author of Eat Fit, Be Fit: Health and Weight Management Solutions, Recipes for Health for Young Autistic Adults and in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology: Clinical and Cost Benefit of Medical Nutrition Therapy by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists for Management of Dyslipidemia. She has been Spokesperson for the NY Dietetic Association appearing regularly and a nutrition expert on television, radio and print. She is now the lead author adding vegetarian menus to all the Nutrition Care Manuals for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
