Green Taste Vegan Goods is an all-vegan grocery in San Francisco’s North Beach. It was founded by Sergey Karpuhin and Davier Mayes as part of their plan to change the world for the better.
It all started in 2016 with launching a vegan blog at www.greentaste.org that later would turn into a real-life vegan store.
After years of self-education and research Davier and Sergey transitioned to the vegan diet and planet-conscious lifestyle. Both had other professions: Davier is a registered vascular sonographer and Sergey is a music/video producer with a studio in Berkeley. After switching to veganism it became clear that there’s much more that can be done to improve the lives of everyone. Green Taste Vegan Goods is their way of introducing San Francisco neighborhoods to the idea of heathy cruelty-free shopping.
When doing your groceries at Green Taste Vegan Goods you don’t need to read into every label to make sure the product is vegan, nor will you have to pass through meat and dairy sections in a regular chain store. Shopping at a local vegan grocery also helps reduce the financial support you provide to traditional industries and retail chains.
