Dr. Kimberly N. Works

Pediatric Works, LLC is a Concierge-Direct Primary Care (DPC) Pediatric clinic in the Atlanta area. I, Dr. Kimberly N. Works, am a Board Certified Pediatrician, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Pediatric Works’s Founder. Our model is different from standard fee-for-service (traditional) clinics because our focus is to offer individualized and holistic care. DPC was created almost 20 years ago, there are over 1200 clinics throughout the US, over 30 in Georgia, and Pediatric Works caters to those aged 0 to 18. Pediatric Works reestablishes the direct Patient-Physician Relationship. Therefore, we do not accept third-party influences, such as insurance companies. Doing so means we maintain a limited patient panel, so I have more time to spend with each patient and same-day appointments are available. There is no pressure to overbook to reach a daily patient quota. Having fewer patients per day means my staff and I know you and your child as individuals.

Our services include standard pediatric care; wellness visits, sick visits, urgent care visits, and sports physicals but we also offer home visits, 30-60 minutes appointments, in-office ear piercing, in-office medication dispensation, no waiting in germ full waiting rooms, and direct contact with myself, Dr. Works.

The last thing parents want to do is take their vulnerable newborn or special needs child to a doctor’s office; which is why I provide home visits. I also have clients whose privacy, due to their occupation is highly desired, therefore home visits are essential.  I want to ensure children can still receive their routine vaccinations during our COVID-19, Flu, and RSV surge, and home visits and or no waiting room clinic will help achieve this. I am an empathetic, experienced, good-humored pediatrician; who will schedule home visits at a convenient time to evaluate how they are growing, address any concerns, and administer essential vaccinations; if desired; so your child will continue to grow strong and healthy. We can start our relationship from birth and continue until college.

I also serve as a Medical Officer for the CISA (Clinical Immunization Assessment Safety) Program within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) organization. I work alongside other physicians who have devoted their time to providing comprehensive vaccine safety.

When I am not working; I enjoy being outside running, biking, hiking, dog parks, farmer’s markets, traveling, and being a mini “Yogi”. I have grown a great fond of Prevention Medicine; which focuses on a Whole Food Plant Based Lifestyle.  With that being said; my cooking skills were never the best so I am growing and laughing at myself constantly.
