Simple roasted brussel sprout recipe. These are super easy to prep and throw into the oven alongside potatoes and/or marinated tempeh.
My Story
I didn't love Brussel sprouts my first time trying them... they tasted bitter and not good! Maybe they were undercooked? Anyway, I gave them another chance and looked up a few recipes before trying them. I simply rinsed and halved them, tossed with spices, and baked them along with other veggies. They became sort of caramelized and crispy at the same time. I could not stop eating them! They're even delicious with only the salt.

Ingredients
- Brussel Sprouts
- Olive Oil
- Dijon Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Rinse Brussel sprouts
- Cut each sprout in half
- Toss with olive oil
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Bake 30 minutes at 200C or 392F
- Toss with Dijon mustard and other spices to taste
- Enjoy!
