Veggly, the world’s top vegan and vegetarian dating app, has announced new user statistics, revealing that the site now has over half a million users worldwide. The app has grown from 250,000 users to 500,000 users since the end of 2020.
At the same time, Veggly is celebrating over 2 million ‘Veg-Matches’ (matches between two users) and expects well over 4 million by mid-2022.
Veggly has released a new version of the app called ‘Veggly 2.0’ to commemorate reaching the coveted 500,000 user threshold and 2 million Veg-Matches.
The new edition will provide users with a cleaner and smoother experience while keeping the same structure, mixing fresh aesthetics with familiar colors and style. The new Veggly is more intuitive, practical, and true to the app’s original visual character, but with a number of enhancements based on user input from all around the world.
Success Stories
Veggly has also relaunched a new series of blog posts, available here, that share heartwarming success stories of couples who met on Veggly (including the story behind the first baby resulting from a Veggly match).
The New Milestone
“It is the best time in history to be a vegan looking for love!” said Founder of Veggly, Alex Felipelli.
“Finding someone who shares your values is so important as it makes relationships work much more smoothly. We believe that’s one of the key reasons Veggly has grown so much in the past year, as well as the continued global growth of veganism. The growth in users we have seen is incredible! So many of us want to be with someone who shares the same love for animals, so it’s no surprise we have hit the 500,000 user mark so quickly!
“This important milestone will strengthen and boost our commitment helping the vegan dating and relationship world grow further. The goal is for Veggly to hit at least 10 million users within the next couple of years, and then grow exponentially from there as the world’s vegan and vegetarian population increases.”
Veggly is available in 181 countries and is expected to continue to grow rapidly thanks to its increasing team of vegan volunteers who have collaborated to translate the app into Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Danish, and Polish, with many more languages on the way.
