San Diego Tempeh produces high quality, sustainable plant proteins. Our products are vegan, probiotic, minimally processed, delicious and environmentally friendly. Each tempeh loaf is hand crafted using only the finest organic beans, seeds and nuts.

What is Tempeh? Originating in Indonesia and traditionally made with soy beans. Tempeh is made by cooking beans, adding a live culture and allowing them to ferment for a few days in a temperature controlled environment. The result is an extremely nutritious and versatile food that can be sliced, diced, or crumbled. Tempeh can then be marinated, seasoned, fried baked or steamed.
