Gillian was born and raised in Toronto, and spends the summers in Northern Ontario; happily watching veganism gaining popularity in smaller towns. She is currently a horticulture student with a deep love and fascination for plant life and veganic gardening.

Gillian went vegan four years ago after learning about animal agriculture and considering her relationship to other beings and her impact on planet Earth.

She has become passionate about sharing vegan recipes and cooking for everyone she meets! When she’s not in the kitchen or the vegan section of the grocery store, she enjoys reading, playing guitar, hiking, spending time with her dogs, and doing yoga.
