A new beauty and wellness line from Kate Moss called COSMOSS includes “mood-boosting” tea and vegan skincare products.
The new brand was characterized as “soulful, sensual, self-aware” in an Instagram release. According to the post, it provides “self-care created for life’s modern journeys.”
Although it’s not obvious if it’s certified, the line is touted to be vegan, cruelty-free, and made from sustainable materials. It includes cologne, face moisturizer, pro-collagen oil drops laced with CBD, face cleanser, and herbal tea.
The retail price of the herbal tea bags is £20, while the price of the CBD face oil is £105. The cost of the perfume is £120.
Customers are supposed to use Moss items in conjunction with the three “rituals” of Dawn, Day, and Dusk.
“A story of reconnection from soul to surface. There is a magic to COSMOSS and I can’t wait for you all to uncover it, just as I did,” she stated.
During the pandemic, Moss made the decision to start COSMOSS, and it took 2.5 years to grow.
Celebrity growth in the vegan beauty sector
Moss isn’t the first famous person to participate in the rapidly expanding vegan cosmetics market, which is expected to reach a value of $26.16 billion by the year 2030.
Kylie Jenner announced last year that her cruelty-free cosmetics company, Kylie Cosmetics, will also become entirely vegan. She also owns the Kylie Skin vegan skincare line.
Kim Kardashian, her sister, runs a line of vegan skincare products as well. Cleansers, toners, serums, and other products are offered by SKKN BY KIM.
Ariana Grande recently unveiled her vegan God is a Woman beauty collection, which uses materials sourced ethically.
